Writer, Director, Producer

David Janove is a writer/director/producer based out of Los Angeles. He currently works for Deadline as Video Producer where he has produced over 1,000 videos ranging from celebrity interviews, daily film and television reviews, live events, film festivals (including Cannes, Sundance, Tribeca and Toronto), panel discussions and more. You can find all of Deadline’s videos at deadline.com/video. He is also the producer of the New Hollywood Podcast and Crew Call Podcast, which has had guests like Ava DuVernay, Michael B. Jordan, Ilana Glazer & Abbi Jacobson, Hans Zimmer, Michael Giacchino, Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Bill Hader.

Previously, David was an Associate Producer at Fine Brothers Entertainment, where his videos routinely accrued millions of views, and his work on “Elders React to Grand Theft Auto V” received a Webby Award.

Outside of producing, David has directed the short film "I Love Your Guts" which screened at Fantastic Fest and Palm Spring ShortFest, and “Lose-Lose” which was featured on the Short of the Week blog, as well as playing at the Santa Monica Film Festival and Garden State Film Festival, among others. For five years, he was the producer of “Lady to Lady”, a podcast formally on the Maximum Fun Podcast Network, which had live episodes recorded at The Chicago Podcast Festival, San Francisco Sketch Fest, LA Podcast Festival and regular shows at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater. In 2012, David founded The Little Modern Theater which held stand up, improv and sketch shows with regular performers like Bill Burr, Bobcat Goldthwait, Maria Bamford, Eric Andre, Jerrod Carmichael, Bo Burnham, Rachel Bloom, Noël Wells and every UCB House team.
